Angie Wang is an actress, dubber and acting coach. Master graduate from the Theatre studies department of National Taiwan University of Arts. Between 2007 to 2009 while she was still in school, Angie Wang was awarded the best lead actress for three consecutive years for performance in The Monument, L’Aide-Memoire, and Scenes from a Marriage. In recent years, she has been on tour in China, Hong Kong, America, and Japan for performances, and also been actively involved in teaching. Recent works include In the Solitude of Cotton Fields with international theatre festival x Roland Auzet; Dress in Code with Ear East Ensemble; Blood and Rose Ensemble, and Notes from Underground with Shakespeare’s Wild Sisters Group; We are Ghosts, The Possible Memories of a Traitor, Ok, my Dear Sisters with 4 chairs Theatre; The Village with Performance workshop, and also worked with Edward Lam Dance Theater, Mr. Wing Theater, Tainaner Ensemble. Following 2010, Angie's also involved in film work like Alifu, Dragon Dance, Seven Days in Heaven, and To Pluto. She expects herself to challenge more powerful and various characters in the future.
