The National Theater & Concert Hall Epidemic Control Announcement
With effect immediately, the National Theater & Concert Hall (the NTCH) will implement the following precaution measures in response to the Novel Coronavirus (also known as 2019-nCoV or Wuhan Coronavirus) epidemic:
- Service staff must wear face masks at all times while on-site and on duty. They must take body temperature before and after their respective duties.
- Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are accessible at the entrances and exits of the NTCH. Forehead thermometer is also available for public use at the information counter.
- Mandatory temperature checks will be enforced on all audience members. In case of fever (a forehead temperature above 37.5 °C), infected individuals will be asked to wear a face mask and seek medical attention immediately.
- The NTCH will substantially increase the frequency of disinfection and cleaning of highly used areas, including elevators, restrooms, and the auditoriums.
Public patrons are advised to follow the recommendations of Taiwan Centers for Disease Control by wearing face masks to protect themselves and others. The NTCH will not provide any face masks. Visitors are urged to take protective measures and seek medical attention as soon they develop flu symptoms, fever, coughs, or feeling of sickness. During epidemic control, we sincerely ask everyone to cooperate and commit to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests.
